Six ways to help NZAAHD for free

NZAAHD's always been about members working for members.

Here are some simple things you can do to support your organisation and each other:

1. Adding your events and news to the NZAAHD forum

Easy, free and you can do it at any time. Relevant items get added to our weekly e update for distribution to the masses.

There are instructions on how to do it here and if you have any problems, the NZAAHD office crew are happy to help - call (04) 3829944 (They're really very friendly)

2. Add (non-commercial) events for young people to the Youth Week page

Free advertising and it gets plenty of traffic all year round so why not? Plus it raises awareness for Youth Week, bonus!

3. Linking to our websites from yours

Linking to relevant sites helps to boost your search ranking and ours too. Make sure we have your web address to link from our Members page. Want a copy of our logo for your link? We've got two to choose from: "Taumata Manaaki Rangatahi" or "For People Working with Young People"

4. Encouraging people who work with youth to join NZAAHD

Young people will be better off if more people working with / researching / developing / teaching / treating / leading /fostering / mentoring / advising / training / representing / caring for them (and everything else) are informed, supported and connected. Find out more about membership here.

If you get recruiting now, you could be in to win a registration to Involve 2010: Connect

5. Let us know if there's anything in need of updating on the website

Do we need to add a resource or fix a link? Tell us and we'll do it asap!

6. Asking anyone who cares about young people to do all of the above!

"Ehara taku toa i te toa takitahi engari he toa takitini"

"My strength is not that of the individual but that of the multitudes"
